ATLANTA -- Residents of northeast Atlanta don't have to travel far to find the perfect pumpkin this fall.

Oakleaf Mennonite Farm will open a pumpkin patch this Saturday, Sept. 28. It will feature pumpkins and other fall favorites from the Navajo Reservation in Farmingham, N.M.

The patch will be open weekdays from noon to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m to 9 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Thursday, Oct. 31.

Proceeds will benefit both the Navajo tribe and Atlanta-based teaching ministries.

Call Berea Mennonite Church at 404-244-0289 for more information. The pumpkin patch is located at 1088 Bouldercrest Drive.
